Solant is designed to help you understand your finances while keeping your personal financial records under your control. Your accounts, groups, categories, transactions, recurring entries, and learned suggestions are stored on your device. Solant does not operate an account system for these records and does not receive them.
Information Solant handles
Financial information you enter
Solant handles the information you choose to add, including account names and balances, custom groups, transaction amounts and notes, categories, currencies, dates, and recurring schedules. This information remains on your device unless you choose to create or share a backup or export.
Learned suggestions
Solant uses choices from transactions you save to make relevant accounts and categories easier to reach. These associations are generated and stored on your device.
Information we do not collect
Solant does not collect your financial records for advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Voice Mode
Microphone access begins only when you choose Voice Mode and grant permission. Solant uses speech input to prepare a transaction and shows the result for your review before saving. Solant does not receive, store, or sell your voice recordings.
Speech services and permission controls are provided by Apple and may be governed by Apple’s privacy practices and your device settings.
Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple. Apple processes your payment details and provides Solant with the information needed to confirm subscription status. Solant does not receive your full payment card details.
Backups and exports
You may create a full Solant backup or export transaction information as a CSV. These files are created at your request and shared only to the destination you choose. Anyone with access to a file may be able to read its contents, so store and share it carefully.
Your choices and controls
You can edit or delete entries in Solant, turn microphone permission off in iOS Settings, create an export, or erase Solant’s financial data from the app. Deleting the app may also remove information stored within it unless you have created a separate backup.
Children’s privacy
Solant is not directed to children under the minimum age required to manage their own Apple account or consent to data processing in their jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Solant evolves or legal requirements change. A revised policy will show a new effective date on this page.
